Balancing Spirit, Soul, and Body
Life's Restoration
SPIRIT
The spirit within you is your innermost being and it has a great connection to the soul. This is the area of man that is in constant conflict. It is in your spirit where you can connect with God through your soul. Apostle Paul tells us the soul struggles against the spirit and the spirit against the soul, and these two are always at war with one another (see Galatians 5:17).

FITNESS
SOUL
The soul is the mind, emotions, and will. The soul is really the steering committee for the rest of man’s being. The soul determines when the spirit will be fed, as well as, how it will take care of the body with proper nutrition, physical activity, and rest.

BODY

Many habits are formed in your life that affects your body. These habits can be changed to improve the body’s condition. For instance, smoking, overeating, drinking, and lack of exercise can all be changed to create for you a better body. Regardless of your earthly body’s makeup or how it is functioning, as a Christian, you have a responsibility to maintain good health and uphold sanctification through His Word. The Apostle Paul wrote that the Christian's body is a temple, and exercise keeps that temple in good repair. But more importantly, perhaps, a good 30-minute workout can help clear your mind and allow you to focus on spiritual things.
